Melissa Sunjaya is a fresh and optimistic person to start her creation within Tulisan. Her creativity through philosophical and art led Tulisan to stand out the crowd, a new step of honest art in modern time. Through a landscape of Indonesia’s traditional woven textile, Celosia Ikat Collection has been Melissa Statement in 2013. It’s using “resist dying” method, by bundling the yarn into a tight knot during pigmentation. From a woven, into a textile, Celosia Ikat collection come up with the series of Yellow Sunflower, Blue Capri, Orange Oriental, Red Rumor, Green Woodland and Nero Velvet.
