Firstly introduced in 2013, Bateeq come with a unique interpretation of batik legacy with a fresh and modern silhouette. In 2018, Bateeq exclusively went by the name of Shifter. This collection made its exclusive appearance at Plaza Indonesia Men’s Fashion Week (PIMFW) 2018. As Bateeq said, shifter takes its name from the idea that separate entities, when considered with meaning and purpose, can be collated to become a greater whole. During the show, Bateeq revealed six motifs; Bee Mega Mendung, Kawung Abu, Parang Ikat, Keceh, Camouflage and Ceplok tribal.
