Spanish-born artist and designer, Jaime Hayon is very different from other artists. While others only focus on either its functionality or its aesthetics, Jaime Hayon has completed the two contrasting ideal on design. His latest creation is a collaborative work with TOTO, in creating sanitary wares and bathroom collection in a bit playful inspiration. Jaime Hayon decided to highlight the bathroom as well as the living room. “We thought the bathroom should be designed with dignity.” stated Hayon. Hayon shared that the main challenge of this project was combining the technical systems with the forms and aesthetic he had imagined for the collection.
